An excellent opportunity for a skilled, hands-on farm manager.

Located between Aboyne and Banchory, Aberdeenshire. Ballogie extends to 2000ha and practices integrated land management. On 550ha of farmland we operate a suckler cow enterprise of 200 Stabiliser cows, 500 crossbred and 250 blackface sheep with forage crops and Barley grown. You will be responsible for managing the farm team. There is scope to input into the future development of the farm enterprise. The successful candidate will be confident and knowledgeable in the proper handling and care of suckler cows, cattle and sheep and experienced with farm machinery and maintenance. Essential skills: highly organised, communicates effectively, self-motivated, technologically adept and a team player. An interest in soil health, cover cropping, silvopasture and other environmental farming methods is desirable. Salary dependent on experience. Housing provided. Good local schools. Start date up to 1st July.
