TEACHING INSTRUCTOR - AGRICULTURE

SRUC are looking to welcome an experienced Agriculture Instructor to our Oatridge campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing our Agriculture students.
Duties will include:
• Contribute to pre-determined, prescribed teaching and assessment within the subject area, as a member of a team, within a clear and established course/module (with assistance and support as required), and/or
• Delivery of accredited training e.g. by work-based learning trainers.
• Contribute to the delivery of elements of an established programme.
• Support learners in classroom, laboratory activities and practical work in specific areas according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Monitor student progress and provide formative feedback, as appropriate.
• Assist with the administration and marking of assessments.
• Assist with the preparation of practical course materials.
• Engage in relevant professional practices, subject and pedagogic research and/or scholarship.
• The driving of vehicles for the business of SRUC may be required.
