STOCKPERSON

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced stockperson on a large suckler herd farm in rural Perthshire.

The role will entail all aspects of the day-to-day management and animal husbandry ensuring the highest standards of welfare are achieved whilst maximising daily live weight gain.

Occasional seasonal tractor driving would also come under your remit alongside the usual feeding, bedding and related yard tasks.

The successful candidate will have a confidence and competency in all aspects of beef husbandry, be passionate and dedicated to the animals in their care and enjoy the responsibility, taking ownership and pride in the animals they produce.
