4000 Ewes, 270 Cows and 400 Acres Arable

Due to expansion, Islay Estates Company is offering two exceptional roles for proactive, energetic individuals to join our team. This is your chance to work on one of Scotland’s most beautiful islands, with a progressive estate that values long-term sustainability and growth.

Shepherd
In this role, you'll be integral to the management and daily operations of our large-scale Blackface and Scotch mule flocks. From handling routine tasks to ensuring the health and well-being of our sheep, you will be working as part of a team to help the continued growth of our sheep enterprise.

Stock Person
If cattle are your passion, you’ll be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of our pedigree Luing cattle herd and commercial suckler cows. Your experience and knowledge of livestock will be vital in maintaining the high standards of care and productivity we pride ourselves on.

What We're Looking For:
• Solid experience and knowledge in livestock farming
• Proficiency in all aspects of livestock care and management
• Honest, motivated, and capable of working independently and within a team
• Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to responsibilities
