A vacancy has arisen at Balnabroich Farm, Strathardle, Perthshire for a shepherd/shepherdess to take charge of a hill flock of 500 Blackface ewes and an inbye flock of 750 cross-bred ewes. Development of closed flock. Strong focus on genetics and digital recording of individual animal performance. Balnabroich also runs a herd of pedigree Beef Shorthorn and Highland cattle.

Working individually and as a member of the team. Good dogs essential. Good remuneration package, including lambing bonus.

Good three bedroom house available. Oil central heating. Easy access to local primary school.
