Bowhill’s farming operation on our Borders Estate covers 17,000 acres rearing cattle, sheep and deer for major supermarket chains, as well as being home to an Anaerobic Digester and Freedom Foods accredited egg-laying enterprise.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shepherd to take responsibility for managing sheep on three of our farms on a day-to-day basis, while maximizing profitability and ensuring high welfare and health and safety standards are maintained. Due to the animal welfare aspect of the role, it is a requirement that the Shepherd lives on-site and therefore accommodation is provided.
