An enthusiastic, outgoing and self-motivated individual is being sought to join the team on this 5,000 acre, family-run sporting/farming estate in Glen Quaich.

Our hefted flock of Blackface ewes lamb outside, are put to the hills in the Spring and brought down to the lower ground in October. In the summer the sheep are gathered and treated on a six-week cycle. The estate shepherd is responsible for all aspects of the management and care of the flock.

The successful candidate will have well-developed organisation and communication skills, and, whilst self-reliance is important, an ability to work constructively alongside others in the estate team with different roles and priorities is absolutely vital. Good working dogs are essential, and related outside interests would be actively encouraged. Less experienced candidates who have the right attitude and skill sets will be considered alongside those with longer track records in similar roles.
