Full-time, permanent

Located in Perthshire, within 20 minutes of Dunkeld, Blairgowrie and Perth. The estate extends to 2000 acres of highly productive arable land growing vegetables and cereal together with 200 acres of permanent pasture. Grass/clover leys have been established on 200acres of the arable allowing the development of a breeding ewe enterprise targetting high levels of output from a sustainable livestock system which does not rely on inorganic nitrogen. The grass/clover leys are fertility building and will increase production efficiency when rotated around the arable operation.

The estate will lamb 1000 ewes this spring and is looking for a full time shepherd to manage and take part in planning the future development of the sheep flock. Start date is flexible up to 1st July.
