PROJECT MANAGER -
WORKFORCE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT

The purpose of this post is to lead and manage tasks that deliver Peatland ACTION Programme requirements to establish a workforce with competencies, skills and desire to deliver peatland restoration within the evolving Peatland ACTION Programme. The post holder will be one of a team of five managers supporting the Programme Manager in providing strategic direction, tactical guidance and operational management in rapid expansion of peatland restoration. It is involved in project governance, resource planning and management, and has a key role in liaising with and reporting to the NatureScot Programme Board and the Scottish Government’s new governance arrangements.
