HEAD TRACTOR DRIVER

We are looking for an experienced tractor driver for a mixed farm in Northumberland, lying between Kelso and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Pallinsburn Estate is a 2,500 acre mixed farm made up of approximately 1,100 acres of combinable crops and the rest comprising of grassland, to service a lambing flock of 800 ewes, and woodland.

You will be a very knowledgeable tractor driver, with good experience in drilling, combining and spraying. You will also need to a careful eye for detail and be able to maintain a very high standard of farming. During the off-season, the role will include a good deal of workshop work (machine maintenance), hedge cutting and working with others on the Estate to include some livestock work.

This is an unusual opportunity for an adaptable and hard-working person, who can work well in a team as well as on their own. Accommodation is available if required.

Telehandler, PA1 and PA2 certificates are preferable, but not necessary. We are more focused on finding the right individual.
