HEAD STOCKPERSON

Due to retirement after 31 years the position of headstock person on a modern 500 sow indoor unit in south west Scotland has become available.

The successful applicant should have a good knowledge and history of working with pigs, and be able to both work too and instil high standards. The role would include working on the unit as part of the team, focusing on the breeding and farrowing whilst managing the team day-to-day.

The average working week is 46 hours, but not limited too, with the inclusion of working one in three weekends. A choice of modern accommodation is available along with a competitive salary. Apply on line to gwspigs@gmail.com
