ESTATE MANAGER

The Reay Forest Estate, situated in Sutherland in the north west Highlands, is part of the Grosvenor Estate,

which contains activities focussed on delivering commercial and social benefit to the Grosvenor family trusts and the communities within which they operate.

The estate is a traditional sporting estate which is known for deer stalking, trout and salmon fishing and for its open countryside for walkers.

The Estate Manager will be responsible for the day to day activities on the estate in conjunction with senior members of the estate. They will have the responsibility for all employees and contractors alongside ensuring the Principal family and guests receive exceptional standards of service and hospitality in a safe and secure environment.

With good management and leadership skills, the role holder will deliver estate wide project plans, take ownership of property maintenance whilst delivering building works and refurbishments alongside the Maintenance team to time and on budget.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with other heads of departments are essential attributes, alongside experience in managing tradesman and teams of employees. Experience of working on a private estate and having a time served trade and/or management qualification is desirable.
