DAIRY HERDSPERSON

Our client Coopon Carse Farm near Newton Stewart in Dumfries and Galloway is home to the renowned Coopon herd of 450 Holstein cows. The herd average is 11,500kgs and the cows are milked through Lely A5 robots in modern comfortable housing.

Striving for improved animal welfare is always at the core of our production aspirations. An experienced person is required to be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the robots, AI of cows and youngstock and managing all husbandry and veterinary care including relevant records. They would join a team of 6 people and report to the Farm Manager.

Salary will be €35-40k depending on experience and a good 3 bed house is available.
