COMMERCIAL NUTRITIONIST

Scotmin Nutrition a division of Carr’s Group Plc has been manufacturing animal feed supplements and nutrition products for the agricultural market in Ayrshire since 1979, supplying farmers and feed merchants across the UK, Europe and Australasia.

An opportunity has arisen at our Ayr production facility to join our busy team in the technical department.

Successful applicants will:
• Be educated to degree level in Animal Nutrition or Animal Science
(an understanding of formulation of supplements would be an advantage)
• Be committed to achieving high standards of customer service through advisory support
• Provide field sales staff and account managers with technical support
• Have an input to staff training
• Have an input to marketing
• Contribute to Quality Control systems including liaison with auditing bodies
• Be able to work accurately in a fast-moving environment
• Have good IT and computer skills (MS Office, etc)
• A confident telephone manner
• Have an outgoing personality
• Work well within a team
• Be Involved in product research and product development
• Be involved in the preparation of commercial quotations and day to day commercial activities
