Kenny Pratt's Hilltop enterprise from Oldtown, Peterculter, has triumphed to win the North of Scotland Texel Club's Flock Competition.

The flock, managed by shepherd Richard Reynolds, not only won the medium flock section and overall but also the award for the best female with a gimmer.

Judge Ben Wight, Midlock, Crawford, found his reserve in last year's winner, Matthew Seed's Auchry flock from Home Farm of Auchry, Cuminestown.

Gillian Adams' Dee Valley flock was presented best show flock with the runner-up awarded to Steven Stewart, Leylodge.
