A three-shear ram shown by Hughie Mackenzie, Badanloch, Kinbrace, landed the overall championship at the North Country Cheviot hill-type sheep show at Lairg.
Judge Andrew Elliot found his supreme in the tup, Balmacara Class Act which was bought at Dingwall in 2023 for £1000.
Badanloch also scooped the female championship with a five-crop ewe by a Langdale ram used on loan, out of a home-bred ewe that was champion here in 2017.
Following the supreme to take the reserve overall championship was the runner-up male, a tup lamb by the £10,000 Attonburn Antidote from Michael Kirk.
Reserve female was a gimmer shown by Scott Renwick, Inverbroom. It is sired by Allanshaw Ben Nevis, a £12,000 purchase at Dingwall in 2022.
