Kilmarnock Foal Show, staged at Ayr Auction Market, saw judge Neil Christie from Balfron select his overall champion in the foal section winner, Herkules Texas Hold’em from Christer Paulsson, Sweden.
The senior filly foal which was produced by the Black family from Collessie, Ladybank, is out of Old Greenlaw Jura and is sired by Collessie Highlander. She previously stood foal champion at Strathaven Show last month.
Littleward Katy from Matthew Carrick, Stirling, was champion senior horse and went on to stand reserve overall. This two-year old filly is sired by Collessie Monarch and out of Littleward Venus. This year, she was champion at Ayr Show and reserve at Stirling.
Reserve foal champion went to Ronnie Black's junior filly Collessie Caroline, on her show debut. She is sired by Cawdor Cup winner Arradoul Balvenie and out of Bogton Layla. The same home also won the award for the best colt foal with Collessie Warrior, with the reserve presented to T Clark and Son's Muirton Successor.
Alan and Evelyn Campbell from Kilmacolm took the reserve senior honours with the three-year-old filly Pacemuir Viola, a daughter of Dillars Ollie out of Pacemuir Mollie.
