James Wallace's Claycrop flock from Kirkinner, Wigtownshire, not only topped the large flocks in the West and Central Scotland Suffolk Sheep Club Competition, but also won the supreme overall.

His flock also produced the winning female in a daughter of Castleisle Cobra and boasted the best stock ram in Redbrae Rockstar.

Judges Paul and Katie Brannen of the Moorsley flock, Temple Sowerby, Penrith, presented the runner-up award to Fiona Wight of the Wights flock from Carwood, Biggar. The Wights flock stood second to the champion large flock and also exhibited the best pen of five ewe lambs.

Paula and David Reid's Conchar flock from Dumfries won the show points trophy, with the Hiddleston's Irongray flock lifting the reserve.
