A Blackface ewe lamb from the firm of WH Sharp and Son, Longford, Lauder, was crowned overall champion at Ellemford Show.
The ewe lamb, by a £38,000 Dalchirla shearling ram, was brought out by shepherd Peter Lothian and was first selected breed champion by judge Tam Renwick, Williamhope. She was placed supreme overall by the inter-breed judge, Steven Renwick, Glenrath.
