Scotland's young breeders star at All Britain Calf Show

They also led several of the leading calves in the Ayrshire, British Friesian, Brown Swiss, Holstein and Jersey sections.

Steep competition in the Holstein showmanship section saw Peter Cotton from Staffordshire take the lead with Team Scotland’s Rory Scott and Ellis Caldwell, coming a close reserve and honourary mention respectively.

Alison Lawrie, Scotland, stood second in the mature age group, to Peter Cotton.
