43 Pictures as thousands attend 244th Wolsingham Show

Wolsingham Show returned for 2024 on September 7 and 8 and with it drew thousands of people who came out to enjoy England's oldest agricultural show.

The two-day event, which was the 244th in its history, saw crowds spoiled for choice who enjoyed food, markets a live cookery show, and more. 

Saturday was named 'Agricultural Day' and featured everything from show jumping, vintage vehicles, a bird of prey display, and one hundred trade stands.

Sunday was then 'Country Fair day' and involved such events as a ferret show, dog agility, and the grand prize of winning stock. 

Pictures from the weekend show attendees enjoying displays of everything from the smallest of guinea pigs to agile horses leaping over obstacles.

Youngsters were even able to join in the fun with pictures showing them getting the chance to pet cows.
