PEEBLESSHIRE JAC will celebrate its 75th anniversary this year, and will host various events, and publish a commemorative book.
The club has asked that any past members with stories to tell submit the following information to be included in the book:
- Full name (including maiden name)
- Years spent in the club, and whether you held any office bearer positions
- A favourite picture that sums up your time in the club
- A write up of 100-150 words about something you did during your time in the club that shaped the person you are today
- If you found love within the club, or another Young Farmers club
This information should be sent to peeblesshirejac@hotmail.co.uk, along with any other pictures you may have from your time in the club that you would like to be included in the book.
During 2019, the club will also hold a celebratory summer ball, on May 25, at the West Linton Green, in a marquee, as well as a grand open stockjudging, at Lanark Market, on September 21, which will include plenty of well-known stock.
Further information can be found by contacting the club email address.
