LOCH Lomond Young Farmers Club will be rounding off its 75th year anniversary celebrations in 2019 with a variety of events.
Firstly, they will host a variety concert, held from January 31 to February 2, 2019, at the Denny Civic Theatre, Dumbarton. For this, past members will join current members on-stage for three nights of singing, dancing and a lot of laughs.
To purchase tickets, you can contact Lorna Filshie on 07566 229326 (after 5pm).
The club will also hold an anniversary dinner dance, which will be held on February 16, 2019, in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Glasgow, and will be entertained by speaker, Robbie Duncan.
For tickets, contact Carol Bennie on 07811 467596, Jan Haining, on 07921 368493, or email LL75DinnerDance@outlook.com
An anniversary book is also available to buy, which has been produced by past member, Anne Filshie, with all proceeds contributing to club funds. The book documents the club's successes and member's experiences, while also reflecting on the changes in the Young Farmers organisation over the years. It also includes entertaining stories from nights out and weekends away.
The cost of the book is £7.50, or £10.00 to include postage. To purchase one, contact Carol Bennie on 07811 467596 or chbennie@yahoo.co.uk.
