SAYFC recently hosted the National Junior Speechmaking final in the Members' Pavilion at Ingliston, courtesy of RHASS.
The event featured a judging panel that included Briony Harcus, Bruce Lang and Richard Oxley, who praised the exceptional standard of competition across all nine teams. Special thanks were also extended to Jane Strawhorn and national vice chair Jillian Kennedy, the question masters, for challenging the teams with their insightful questions.

While the speechmaking competition was being judged, the National Junior Quiz Final took place. Thanks were given to Sheena and Munro for preparing the quiz and testing the junior members' knowledge, and to Jillian Kennedy for serving as question master. SAYFC also expressed gratitude to Euan Bremnar, Anne Craig and Jane Strawhorn for their assistance throughout the day with stewarding and support.
