KUHN Farm Machinery has expanded its lineup with the launch of the TF 2300C, a dual seed and fertiliser front tank, designed to streamline crop establishment by offering growers flexibility and precision. Building on KUHN’s established TF range, this pressurised front tank allows users to simultaneously plant seed and apply fertiliser, reducing the number of passes and optimising crop nutrition placement.

The TF 2300C features a 2,360 litre tank with a 60/40 split for seed and fertiliser, complementing KUHN’s existing TF 1512 tank. Edd Fanshawe, KUHN’s arable and connected services product specialist, highlights the added benefit of this model, especially with tighter weather windows.

“Our TF range can be used with a wide variety of implements from dedicated drills to cultivators with seeding kits. Growers require versatility to adapt to changing conditions and front tanks allow this while retaining output capacity.” says Fanshawe.

The tank’s dual hoppers can either mix seeds and fertiliser within the same delivery tube or keep them separate, depending on crop and machinery requirements. Agitators promote fertiliser flow, while the simple handle-lock mechanism and external calibration button make the cassette change process quick and efficient.

To enhance field performance, users have the choice between a carrying frame or an optional front packer with four 822mm tyres, which helps reduce weight on the front linkage and improves consolidation. The TF 2300C is also equipped with GPS-driven features like automatic switching at the start and end of runs, variable-rate application based on prescription maps and data transfer via agrirouter. For machine control, it is compatible with ISOBUS terminals VTI 60, CCI 800, and 1200, as well as compatible tractor displays.

According to Fanshawe: “Applying seed and fertiliser in one pass not only reduces passes but places nutrition in the right place to provide the crop with its best start. This new TF 2300C offers users greater possibilities and flexibility to achieve establishment in the best conditions.”

With a base price of £24,625, the TF 2300C will be available for orders in Spring 2025, with delivery expected in Summer 2025.
