Greentech Invest UK is gearing up to submit plans for a 22MW solar farm near Coupar Angus, as part of its ongoing push towards renewable energy in the region.
A Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) was lodged with Perth and Kinross Council back in August 2024, and councillors had their first discussion of the project during the Planning and Placemaking Committee meeting on Wednesday, October 9.

A second public consultation event has been scheduled for Thursday, October 17, from 1pm to 7pm, at the Kettins Community Hub, following an earlier session held on September 11.
Local residents will have the opportunity to review the plans and raise any concerns.
The proposed Peattie Solar Farm is set to be located on land located 320 metres northwest of Peattie Farm, near Kinnochtry, Coupar Angus.
