Cautley Thwaite Hurricane from MD and JD Handley, Sedbergh, topped the sale at 8500gns
Cautley Thwaite Hurricane achieved 8500gns at North West Auctions’ annual show and sale of Rough Fell rams at J36 for MD and JD Handley, Sedbergh.
This sold in a two way split to TLB and J Knowles, Selside and K Milburn and A Devlin, Sedbergh.
The same home then sold Cautley Thwaite Harrier for 7000gns to MP and A Capstick, Kirkby Stephen.
On the flip side the Capsticks, sold Brownber Huntsman at 3500gns to J Hodgson, Askham, and Brownber Holistic at 3000gns to P and S Hoggarth, Sedbergh.
After topping the sale, MD and JD Handley, went to 3200gns for High Cark Hunter from I and M Mallinson, Selside.
Ram lambs peaked at 700gns for J and I Capstick, Kirkby Stephen purchased by JE Harding, Caernarfon.
