Four Charolais bullocks from Messrs Sinclair, Crookston, topped the trade at Harrison and Hetherington’s annual show and sale of Charolais and continental cattle, St Boswells when selling for £1980.

Top pence per kg went to Limousin cross bullocks from Messrs Anderson, Headshaw at 389p.

It was a clean sweep for Messrs Anderson, Headshaw, among the pre-sale show, taking the champion, reserve and top pen. Supreme was a heifer which later realised £1850, whilst the reserve, a bullock made £1800.

Bullocks averaged 310.4p (+16p), whilst heifers cashed in at 301.39p (+10p).
