The annual Autumn highlights for pedigree breeding cattle at CCM's Skipton centre reached 2500gns a 20-month-old Aberdeen Angus bull from David Preston, Sannat herd, Stainforth.
This was Sannat Edward a son of Hollyhowe Evito Sam he was bred by Sannat Emily, and sold to the Gawthorpe family, Bradford, for their dairy herd.
Liam Horsfall of the Westroyd herd, Luddendenfoot sold two March 2023 Claragh Neymar Limousin sons for 2450gns and 2350gns.
The February 2022 born Hereford bull, Hoghton View 1 Ambition, from Steve Walker, Hoghton View, Preston, made 1450gns.
The suckled calf show, judged by Jack Kitching, Kirby Sigston, Northallerton, saw yearling heifers sell to a high of £1560 from Ken Fawcett, Dale Head, Barden, for the first prize Limousin.
