James May has responded to speculation regarding him and Clarkson’s Farm.

The 61-year-old and chums Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond have gone their separate ways professionally after 22 years.

Having made a name for themselves on Top Gear, the trio then went on to present The Grand Tour on Prime Video which came to an end earlier this month.

A special filmed in Zimbabwe and Botswana entitled One For The Road aired in September and saw the end of over two decades of adventures.

Each of the three had already been pursuing side projects with Jeremy Clarkson having another Prime Video hit in Clarkson’s Farm.

Set on his Oxfordshire farm near Chipping Norton, the documentary highlights the day-to-day life of a farmer and is already in the production of its fourth season.

Fans have been asking for years if James May or Richard Hammond would be involved in the agricultural adventures and now it seems they have an answer to their question.

Posting a photograph of Mr May with goats and the title card James’ Farm, a Clarkson’s Farm fan account on X said: “Who else would watch this?”

Mr May himself directly answered the question and replied: “I wouldn’t.”

The presenter had previously published the photo of himself and the animals earlier on Thursday before the fan edit was made.
