A farmer has lost around 700 tonnes of grain following a fire near Bishop's Castle.
Firefighters rushed to Lydbury North shortly after 1pm on Tuesday (September 24) after being alerted that a grain bin was on fire.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service sent two fire appliances from Bishop's Castle and Craven Arms to the incident which was attended by an operations officer.
The emergency service said it had received a report at 1.06pm that a grain bin containing approximately 700 tonnes of grain were involved in the fire.
