Kverneland has expanded its Qualidisc short disc harrow range by introducing its widest model yet, while also making updates to enhance performance and versatility across various soil types. The new flagship model, named the Qualidisc T, has a working width of 12.25m and will be featured at this year’s Tillage Live event.
This trailed compact disc harrow comes with four independently mounted frame sections that follow the contours of the ground. Each section is fitted with two rows of 600mm diameter notched discs, similar to those on narrower Qualidisc Pro models. Ground pressure is evenly maintained across the wing sections, ensuring a consistent worked soil layer and smooth surface, even when operating at speeds of up to 20km/hr.

The working depth can be adjusted between 2-15cm, and there is a selection of rear packers available, such as the Actipack, Actipress, and Actipress Twin rollers. Additionally, updates across the range include modifications to the disc sections, improving soil penetration and surface cutting in dry conditions. Levelling has also been enhanced on both sides of the machine by increasing the distance between the front and rear disc sections to 900mm. For lighter soils, an optional pair of star discs can replace the standard steel levelling discs.
Two frame options are available on trailed models, giving buyers the choice of a longer chassis to accommodate more press options. These include the Actipress Twin with u-profile rings or the Double Cage rear roller.
