Well known beef farmer and prominent Simmental breeder, Stewart Stronach Snr has died.
An advocate for the Simmental breed, Stewart, alongside his wife Hazel was the founder of notable pedigree herd Islavale.
The British Simmental Cattle Society described him as “popular and engaging with all who met him. He was a true gentleman, very much a family man who was hugely respected.”
Stewart is survived by his wife Hazel, children Linda, Stewart, and Sandra and the rest of the family. A service celebrating his life will be held at St Rufus Church and onwards to Grange Cemetery with all friends respectfully invited.
