The BBC's hit farming series, This Farming Life, is on the hunt for its next cohort of participants.

From now until the end of November, 2024, they are looking for parties that are interested in taking part in series eight to register their interest, with a view to start filming with the new families from the beginning of 2025.

The BBC are still filming series seven, which is likely to be broadcast in early 2025.

BBC producer Emma Burns, said: "We’re looking for five families from all across Scotland. We’d love to hear from farmers, crofters and smallholders – no farm is too big or too small!

"We’re looking for people who are happy to be open and honest about the realities of farming life – the good times as well as the challenges. We’d love to know if people have exciting plans for 2025, new ventures on their farm or in family life.

"On This Farming Life, we’re always thrilled to be able to show off the incredible diversity of the agricultural industry in Scotland, as well as the fantastic scenery!"

This Farming Life has been great success for the BBC, with viewers enjoying an insight into farming and crofting families, the length and breadth of the country. The series follows it's families through the highs and lows of Scottish farming.
