United Auctions has announced the appointment of Richard Henderson as a director to the company’s executive team.
Mr Henderson is one of the main sheep auctioneers at the Scottish livestock auctioneering firm and is a fellow of the Institute of Auctioneers.
The company said that his promotion reflects United Auctions’ commitment to nurturing leadership talent from within the business.
With 36 years of experience in auctioneering and the red meat industry, Richard Henderson joins a board that already includes managing director George Purves, group directors Christopher Sharp, John Roberts and Donald Young, and sales director David Brown.

The appointment of Mr Henderson is part of a broader strategy by the livestock auctioneering firm “to develop and promote leadership from within, ensuring continuity and sustained business growth”.
