Drivers around the Bridport area had a close shave when a herd of sheep appeared on the road.
Local woman Shara Beddows spotted the livestock at around 5.45am, on Thursday, August 15 along the B3162 heading out of Salway Ash towards Broadwindsor.
It is unknown which farm the flock belong to.
Due to concerns of speeding in the area, she decided to act and managed to herd them off the road into a safer place.
She said: "I managed to get them off the road and down the junction opposite Filford Lane.
"I think they were out for a while, they looked pretty content.
"I just wanted to get them out the road before anyone came in the other direction too fast as they do on that road."
