MacGregor Industrial Supplies, based in Inverness, has been named the new authorised dealer for Bobcat in the Highlands and Islands, Aberdeenshire, and Perthshire. This appointment expands the reach of Bobcat’s products and services throughout the North of Scotland.
Known for providing a wide range of industrial supplies and equipment, MacGregor Industrial Supplies operates seventeen divisions, including construction, forest and groundcare, and Fencing & Agriculture. The company’s headquarters in Inverness is supported by branches in Aberdeen, Elgin, Inverurie, Kirkwall, Portree, Stornoway, and Turriff, ensuring comprehensive coverage across the region.

This appointment follows MacGregor Industrial Supplies’ recent acquisition of Balgownie, the previous Bobcat dealer, which brought in staff with extensive Bobcat knowledge and expertise. This acquisition ensures continued top-tier parts and service support for existing Bobcat owners.
MacGregor Industrial Supplies has also added Bobcat machinery to its hire fleet, supporting industries including construction, renewables, oil and gas, and agriculture. This enhances the company’s diverse portfolio and complements its existing product ranges, reinforcing its commitment to providing unparalleled solutions to its valued customers.
Expanded Product Range
In addition to selling the full range of Bobcat machines and attachments, MacGregor Industrial Supplies offers genuine Bobcat accessories and parts. They stock a variety of new, Certified Used, and second-hand Bobcat machines for sale.
The service network at MacGregor Industrial Supplies covers everything from emergency repairs to routine maintenance, ensuring that Bobcat machinery operates at peak performance. Their dedicated service team provides prompt and reliable support to keep equipment running smoothly.
Bobcat’s product range has expanded significantly in recent years. New additions include compact wheel loaders, small articulated loaders, R-Series telehandlers, compact loaders, compact tractors from twenty-five to fifty-eight HP, mowers, turf renovation equipment, forklifts, warehouse equipment, and portable power equipment.
The Bobcat R-Series telehandler range includes twenty-one models with Stage V engines, with specific machines for agriculture and construction. Additionally, Bobcat offers ten skid-steer loaders, including the new R-Series S86 model, five compact track loaders, mini-excavators from one to 9.4t, including two electric models, and a full range of light compaction machinery.
