Pembrokeshire Creamery, the sole liquid milk processing facility in Wales accredited to supply major retailers with Welsh milk, is now looking to expand its operations by partnering with local farmers.
The creamery, which officially opened last month and created around 80 new jobs, has the capacity to bottle over a million litres of milk each week.
With a recently announced investment in the facility, once it reaches full capacity, the dairy will be able to supply approximately two million litres of milk weekly.

It has already secured major agreements to supply own-branded milk to Asda and Lidl stores throughout Wales and has introduced its own Blas y Tir branded milk.
Mark McQuade, the managing director of the creamery, stated that the company is committed to supporting local farming communities and sourcing all milk as locally as possible.
He explained: “We’ve been pleased with the level of interest from dairy farmers in signing up with us – but we still have some capacity.”
By eliminating the need to transport Welsh milk to bottling plants in England, the creamery aims to reduce food miles, enhance supply chain efficiency, create new skilled jobs and support local farmers.
The development of the £20 million creamery has received support from the Welsh government and Pembrokeshire County Council, with additional funding provided by HSBC.
