A quad bike was stolen from a North Yorkshire farm on Friday (July 12), with police saying it was first pushed across a field.
The incident happened between 5pm and midnight at a farm in Moulton, near Scotch Corner.
Police said two men dressed all in black wearing balaclavas and gloves stole the red Honda 420 quad bike. It is believed that the men pushed the quad bike over a field then escaped with it towards the Darlington area.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "We’re particularly appealing for information about any suspicious activity that was seen in the area of Back Lane towards Darlington, between Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13.
"Also, any information of vehicles that may have been seen on Back Lane, Moulton, between 5pm and midnight on Friday, July 12.
