Perthshire farmer and comedian Jim Smith has his first radio series hitting the airwaves next week on BBC Radio 4. The series called Me and the Farmer chronicles the first 30 years of Jim’s life growing up on his upland livestock farm.
Each episode was recorded in front of a live audience in Perth where Jim tells tales of going to young farmers, heading to agricultural collage and picking tatties and berries.
The weekly series kicks off on Wednesday July 3 at 23.00 then will be available on BBC Sounds.
