Ayrshire police are appealing for information following the attack of 13 lambs and two ewes which were killed.
The attack, which also left numerous other sheep injured, occurring between the villages of Kirkmichael and Dalrymple between 3pm and 8pm on Thursday, June 13. Locality policing team officers from Maybole police office are seeking information following the incident.
Rural officer PC Andrew Thorne stated: “This has been a significant livestock attack, with two ewes and 13 lambs being killed and numerous others being injured. This incident has unfortunately impacted on two separate local farm businesses.”
Police Scotland requests any information regarding this incident, particularly about dogs that may have been unsupervised, gone missing, or returned home wet and bloodied in the local area at the associated time.
