Walkouts by over 500 employees at New Holland’s Basildon tractor factory have been paused to let workers vote on a revised pay proposal.

The planned strikes on June 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27 are now cancelled. Should the membership decline the proposal, new strike dates will be set.

Unite regional officer Michelle Cook said: “As a sign of good faith, Unite has suspended strike action at CNH to allow workers to vote on the new offer. If rejected, industrial action will resume until an acceptable offer is put forward.”
