The Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs (SAYFC) is excited to unveil a major fundraising campaign to raise £1m for a cutting-edge building at the Royal Highland Centre. This new structure will replace the current one, which is in a deteriorated condition.

The new facility will be central to SAYFC activities during the Royal Highland Show and will serve various purposes for the organisation throughout the year. When not in use by SAYFC, the building will be available as an event space, generating additional revenue for the association.

The aim is to demolish the existing building in 2025 to make room for the new facility.

SAYFC chair Alistair Brunton stated: “This is an ambitious project however it needs to be undertaken and we are excited by what the new building will provide our members.

“By working in partnership with RHASS, we can ensure the building will be used throughout the year bringing in much-needed income for SAYFC.”

He added: “We are calling on the rural community, our existing supporters and SAYFC member clubs to get behind this fundraising campaign to bring this project to fruition."

Former members and supporters are invited to receptions at the Royal Highland Show to learn more about the plans. Those interested in attending should contact info@sayfc.org.
