ORGANISERS of NSA Scotsheep 2024 are now welcoming entries for the NSA Next Generations Shepherd of the Year competition and show and sale of pairs of ewe hoggs.
With a total prize fund of £1400 up on offer, the NSA Scotsheep 2024 organising committee encourages all young sheep enthusiasts up to 26 years of age on July 30, 2024, that also reside in Scotland to enter.
Held at Thurston Mains Farm, Innverwick, Dunbar, on Tuesday, June 4, the winner will receive £300 plus a trophy and, together with the runner up, will get the chance to represent NSA Scotland at the UK finals held at the NSA Sheep Event 2024 at Malvern on July 30, 2024.
Entering the competition is free and must be done by Friday, May 3.
Similarly, entries are now being accepted for the multi-breed show and sale of pairs of ewe hoggs which will have both Meadi Visna accredited and non-MV sections.
