Mark Zuckerberg, American business owner and co-founder of Facebook, recently announced on social media platforms Instagram and Facebook that he wishes to expand his portfolio to his Ko’olau cattle ranch.
Situated on an island in Hawaii called Kauai, where he aims to produce ‘’some of the highest quality beef in the world.”
Incorporating cattle breeds such as Wagyu and Aberdeen Angus. In a bid to generate a local and vertically integrated process, “they’ll grow up eating macadamia meal and drinking beer that we grow and produce here on the ranch.” stated Zuckerberg.
“Each cow eats 5,000-10,000 pounds of good each year, so that’s a lot of acres of macadamia trees.”
Zuckerberg then went on to say how he incorporates his daughters in the ranch operations by caring for animals and planting trees.
The announcement of the cattle ranch venture comes with enthusiasm from Zuckerberg, “Of all my projects, this is the most delicious.”
