The inaugural Scottish Agriculture Awards took place to celebrate some of the most innovative and progressive agricultural businesses and individuals within the sector.
The Beef Farm of the Year award was taken by Emma, Andrew, and Jill Hodge at Rulesmains Farm in the Scottish Borders. Andrew Hodge said: “Absolutely delighted to pick up the award on behalf of my daughter."

We started up in beef farming in 2008, prior to that we were in dairy farming. Because I enjoyed showing so much, we got some pedigree Aberdeen Angus, and now we have almost all pedigrees and just a few commercials left.
