Iconic agri-machinery brand Massey Ferguson has introduced six models to their MF TH telehandler Series.
Massey Ferguson, a brand of AGCO, says the line-up, which starts with the semi-compact MF TH 6030 and goes up to the latest MF TH 8043, which provides a maximum lift capacity of 4,300kg and height of 7.5m, is designed to handle any job.
Significant improvements to the hydrostatic transmission, which include a new operating mode ensure the series operates more smoothly to ease operation and increase productivity, while powerful and high-flow hydraulics, equipped with proportional control, deliver optimum materials handling accuracy and productivity.

Vice President of Massey Ferguson Thierry Lhotte said: “MF TH Telehandlers already have a strong reputation for excellent performance, productivity, visibility, and maneuverability. These new models now introduce the most exciting developments in 10 years’ of MF TH production.
“This is not just an upgrade – it is a breakthrough. The series is completely transformed. Now equipped with a high comfort cab, this new generation delivers outstanding comfort and control, combined with smoother operation and additional automation.”
Improvements include a new seat and a joystick offering ease of operation of the hydraulics and transmission. A new colour display provides a range of operating information, while additional automation for the boom suspension, parking brake, boom height setting, and third hydraulic function controls also offer further ease of operation.
Francesco Murro, marketing director at Massey Ferguson said: “Substantial change to the cab enables operators to benefit from modern, advanced controls in a quiet, comfortable workplace.
“High performance, combined with great comfort make the MF TH Series a real operator’s machine.”
All models in the range are powered by advanced four-cylinder, Stage V engines, with power increasing to 135hp on the MF TH 6534, MF TH 7038, and MF TH 8043, while remaining at 100hp for the other models. Lift capacity and height specifications remain unchanged.

The manufacturer points to the design of the cab which it says offers operators the next level of comfort and control, with a more rounded, asymmetric structure with easy access through a wider opening door.
The heated seat is air-suspended and responds automatically to the bumps and has automatic height and weight adjustment.
The cab also offers a quieter working environment at all operating speeds, with measurements showing a significant reduction of 1.5dBA on the road and up to 2-3 dBA during loading operations, along with a reduced noise intensity and tone.
The curved design of the cab and lower profile engine bonnet shape delivers a completely unobstructed view to the rear three-quarter right-hand side, while new mirrors, mounted at a higher position, provide a better view of what is behind the vehicle. Options include an integral cool box, an electric right-hand mirror, and a lateral wiper to further improve the view to the side and mirrors.
All the vehicles in the MF TH telehandler range now come with the exclusive left-hand MF Power Control lever as standard. Exactly the same as that used on all Massey Ferguson tractors, it sits just under the steering wheel and with fingertip operation performs three functions. The first is to shuttle forwards and backward, shift hydrostatic speed ranges up and down, and select neutral.
This leaves the right hand free to control loading operations.
A 5” colour terminal clearly displays operating information and can be used to select the steering modes, which include and new semi-crab setting. A menu makes it easy to navigate between settings, while the view from the optional rear camera.
Further functions are available from the optional 7” display terminal, which allows operators to select the steering mode and the hydraulic flow ore sequence from the screen, as well as view detailed job management information for tasks and operators. It also comes with a Bluetooth connection and an integral phone mic installed on the dash, along with integrated radio and music settings.
The latest generation of vehicles introduces a completely new way to operate the hydrostatic transmission. With the addition of the new hand throttle, operators can set the desired engine speed and then use the pedal to vary the travel speed of the telehandler.
The manufacturer argues this is perfect for work requiring steady and changing forward speeds, such as feeding, bedding, and sweeping.
All new MF TH telehandlers are powered by the latest design Stage V compliant 3.4 litre capacity, four-cylinder engines. These deliver 100hp on the MF TH 7035 and two semi-compact models; and 135hp – a 5hp increase over predecessors – on three of the standard machines.
This advanced engine meets the strict Stage V regulations with components installed neatly under the slim side bonnet. This improves visibility with a new steep slope at the back providing an even better view of the right rear wheel.
In terms of hydraulics, A powerful load-sensing hydraulic system supplies up to 190 litres/min on the 135hp machines and 100 litres/min for the 100hp models, with proportional electro-hydraulic control on all functions delivering optimum accuracy and productivity.
This delivers superb lifting performance even at low engine speeds, with Massey Ferguson’s SHS (Smart Handling System) allowing operators to set the maximum flow for smooth and accurate operation.
Cushion Retract ensures a smoother action and extends the life of the components. Additional electric control can be specified to provide a fourth and fifth service to operate demanding implements, such as straw choppers and feeding buckets.
