Millions of people around the UK use Amazon to buy a huge range of products, and as a result, some of those might be interested in the deals Amazon Prime Day has to offer.

Officially known as Prime Big Deal Days, it was first staged in July 2015 to mark the website’s 20th anniversary but became a twice-a-year event in 2020.

Prime Day 2023 this October will feature thousands of offers across all categories, from tech gadgets to fashion items.

On the Amazon website, it says: "Prime Big Deal Days is a two-day deal event exclusively for Prime members, featuring discounts and savings on brands they love like Bose, Shark and Fitbit, as well as a wide selection of discounts from small businesses across the UK."

When is Amazon Prime Day 2023 in the UK?

Amazon Prime Day 2023 takes place from Tuesday, October 10 to Wednesday, October 11 this time around.

Deals will be live from one minute past midnight on October 11 before finishing up at 11.59pm on October 12.

To make the most of the deals and discounts you will need to be subscribed to Amazon Prime.

Last year, Prime members around the world bought in excess of 100,000 items each minute during the sale, The Telegraph reports.

The Amazon website adds: "This year, Prime Big Deal Days starts on 10th October and runs through 11th October.

"Prime members don’t have to wait to make savings this season, you can access early discounts on entertainment including Amazon Music Unlimited, Kindle Unlimited and more."

The UK isn't the only place where Amazon Prime Day takes place, as it is available in more than 20 countries around the world, including France, Germany, Italy, Australia and the United States.
