The Chase star Paul Sinha has confessed that he struggles with pub quizzes due to the picture rounds.

The comedian, famous for his appearances on the ITV gameshow as 'The Sinnerman', has explained that he "can't visualise colours" which means that picture rounds can be tricky in a pub quiz.

The 53-year-old shared that "quizzing" can be a "real pain in the neck" since "there are so many flag questions" asking you to identify different colours.

"It's a real pain in the neck in quizzing, because there are so many flag questions - what colour is this and what colour is that," the comic is quoted in the Daily Star newspaper.

He added: "I'm not colour blind in things I see, but when I try to remember it I can't remember what colour things are.

"People say to me all the time, 'You must be impossible to beat in a pub quiz'. But I'm very easy to beat in a pub quiz because I can't answer any of the picture rounds at all."

His issue with visualising colours also came up when he appeared on the Channel 4 gameshow Taskmaster hosted by Greg Davies and Alex Horne.

Sinha accounted his difficulty visualising colour for his "terrible performances on Taskmaster".

He explained: "When they say, 'What colour are the stripes on the flag of Lithuania?' I literally have no idea at all. I can't remember what the flag of Lithuania looks like.

"I can't visualise very much at all. One of the great excuses for my terrible performances on 'Taskmaster' is that I just can't visualise - I've never been an artistic person.

"I've never even had the slightest iota of pictorial skill at all. Nothing."

Sinha - who tied the knot with husband Oliver Levy back in 2019 - also admitted the visualisation problems even go beyond colours as he struggles to recognise certain faces.

The comic shared: "It's interesting that I can't recognise female celebrities. But if it's a bloke that I fancy I can recognise him straight away."
