A rising seven-year-old yeld mare from Charlotte Young's Doura stud was crowned champion amongst a strong entry at Ayr Show.
Collessie Flash Girl, an Arradoul Balvenie daughter, from Charlotte Young, went one better than her reserve win at Harrogate in 2022 to win breed honours at this year's event.
The seven-year-old bred by the Black family and out of Old Greenlaw Jura was bought privately as a foal. A big winner as a youngster, she also scooped a third prize at the World Championships in Aberdeen last October and the breed championship at Ayr, in May.
Elaine Ramsay won the turnout championships.
